What is your submission process?

Yawn’s Publishing accepts fiction, non-fiction, and children’s book manuscripts. They must be either full manuscripts or at least three chapters formatted in a Microsoft Word document. We are currently open to manuscripts from existing and first-time authors.

Please include the full or partial manuscript (at least three chapters) in an email, along with basic contact information (such as a phone number and address), to Farris Yawn at fyawn@yawnsbooks.com to set up an appointment to discuss your project. You can also call 1-678-880-1922.

Where will my book be sold?

Your published book will be available in-store at Yawn’s Publishing in Canton, Ga., and online at www.yawnspublishing.com, www.amazon.comwww.barnesandnoble.com, and supplied to other bookstores through Ingram Distributors.

Who will retain rights to the book?

You, the author, will retain all rights to your book.

Do you assist with marketing my book?

All authors will receive an electronic press release for their book, which will be sent to our media list. The author will also be featured on Yawn’s author and book publishing website pages at www.yawnspublishing.com. Your book will be available through Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. com, and also through Ingram Distributors, and you can request that it be placed with any other distributor, for library and bookstore purchases. We will place it for you on these additional sites if your book is accepted by the distributor.  We will also provide digital marketing services through our blog, Facebook, and Twitter. In addition to these services, Yawn’s Publishing will assist the author with a book launch event. We are also available to consult with the author, free of charge on other marketing options.
