Shelton McKeever is a native of West Virginia who has lived and worked in Georgia for over forty years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and began his career as a hydraulic engineer. Later, he became a technical writer and finished his career as a technical report reviewer. Upon retirement, he located to the town of Ellijay in north Georgia where he now resides with his wife Rita. He feels blessed with a large family. He has three brothers, one sister, and seven nieces and nephews. He is the father of five children and has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He also has one stepdaughter who has two children and four grandchildren.
My Little Tin Horn: Memories of being a kid during the 1930s and 1940s is a collection of memorable events he had when he was a kid, “when I learned to enjoy the simple things in life.” The book was published in 2011.
