Jack Fincher, Jr., with assistance from Frances Fincher, compiled the History in Stained Glass, which tells the story of the stained-glass windows of the Margarette H. McFather Chapel at Canton First United Methodist Church in Canton, Ga. In 1964, a seed was planted by Frances Fincher to Rev. Fred Shelnutt for him to write a sermon explaining to the congregation the significance and symbolism of the beautiful windows depicting the life of Christ.
